According to our book when people give speeches we tend to focus more on the presentation; how the speech is delivered. Some examples are the way we look or sound when presenting. I will be discussing the speech delivered by Emily, example 1, Different Areas in the Marketing Industry. The first thing I noticed was that Emily wasn’t very loud, her volume was not really high enough for me to hear what her name was unless I turned up the volume on my computer. The next thing I noticed was that she began playing with her hair before she finished introducing herself. Emily’s rate was a little slow paced and she had a lot of “um’s” in her delivery.
